In Baleswar: 2 schoolgirls die in mysterious circumstances

Tension prevailed at Tentei village under the Soro police limits in Baleswar district after two Class-X girl students were found dead under mysterious circumstances on Saturday morning.

The Priyanka Das and Laxmipriya Das were students of the Tentei High School and happened to be close friends. In fact, Priyanka used to stay at Laxmipriya’s house.

Like every day, the two returned from tuition on Friday night and went to sleep. On Saturday morning when Laxmipriya’s family members called them, the two did not wake up. The family members called up their neighbours, who found both dead.

The cause behind their death was yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the Soro police reached the spot and began an investigation into the incident.
