Selfie Star wins The Eve Champion Trophy

Pune: The star performance of the day came from well-backed Selfie Star (Excellent Art (GB)-Maharanee (USA) who is owned by the Zavaray S Poonawalla, Behroze Z Poonawalla, Simone Poonawalla Pandole and Delna Z Poonawalla rep. Poonawalla Racing and Brdg Pvt Ltd family and is trained by Dallas Todywalla.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal  rode a clinical race atop the Poonawalla Exhilarat Breeder: Exhilaration Stud. bred four-year-old filly was waiting for her moment to strike. 

She stayed all the way in third position but close enough to her two rivals into the straight. 

B Fifty Two was quick to hit the front and made the running with Aggregated and Selfie Star chasing them at a steady pace. 

Selfie Star responded with an amazing turn of foot and charged forward with a scintillating burst.
