Man stabbed to death in Sydney's west

A man has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of another man in greater western Sydney.

Emergency Services were called to Dutch Place in St Clair around 6.40pm on Saturday, where they discovered a man suffering multiple stab wounds.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man, but he died at the scene.

Witnesses told police that two men were involved in an argument before one of them was stabbed. The other man reportedly fled the scene, according to a NSW Police spokesperson.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be forensically examined.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man nearby just after 8.30pm, and took him to Penrith Police Station where he is expected to be interviewed.
