Rahul Gandhi’s visit ‘no loss to BJP’, says Kaushik

State BJP President Dharamlal Kaushik said that the visit of AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi to the State on Friday is ‘no loss to the BJP.’

State Assembly polls are nearing and hence the visit of leaders of national parties would now be frequent to the State, he said.

Meanwhile, State Executive Body meeting of Chhattisgarh’s  BJP Unit was held here at its State office Ekatma Parisar on Friday. State BJP Chief Dharamlal Kaushik chaired the meeting which discussed organizational issues in detail along with chalking out of programme schedule for proposed visit of BJP national president Amit Shah to the State.

Talking to reporters later, Kaushik said that the meeting discussed in detail about the proposed visit of BJP national president Amit Shah on August 22. The details such as what would be the schedule of his visit, the names of the persons to be invited, ensuring the presence of invitees were discussed, he said.

The meeting also chalked out programme for the ‘Independence Week’ to be celebrated by the party’s State unit as per the directives of party’s National Headquarters, he said. Under this, a series of programmes are to be organized from Aug 15 to 21, Kaushik informed.

BJP’s Co-Organizational Secretary Saudan Singh, office bearers of State unit of BJP and District Presidents were present on the occasion.
