Coimbatore: A 60-year-old staunch DMK supporter was found hanging in his house at Bharathi Nagar in Ganapathy here on Friday. In a suicide note he left behind, KV Muthusamy said he took the extreme step grief-stricken over the demise of party leader M Karunanidhi.
Muthusamy had been a member of DMK for more than two decades. He had moved to Coimbatore city from Annur along with the family members six years ago. “His elder son, who was working in Chennai, had committed suicide two months ago. He was depressed after the incident,” a police officer said. TNN
