Prostitutes are mothers, sisters and daughters too, would wash their feet as respect: Chouhan

BHOPAL : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, addressing a public meeting in Nalkheda of Agar district on Saturday, said prostitutes are also sisters and daughters and he would wash their feet as respect.

He said those who had called him prostitute should clearly understand that women, who get stuck in prostitution due to some helplessness, are also mothers, sisters and daughters.

He said Congressmen by making fun of the helplessness of prostitutes were committing crime against humanity.

He said all such women were respectable to him and his party too respects all women.

He said that the language of Congressmen does not match the values of Indian culture.

He said that he respects woman fraternity and he would work for their welfare.

He said that Swami Vivekanand and Swami Ramkrishna Paramhans have termed prostitutes as their mother and he also consider them as his mother, sister and daughter. He would always uphold the dignity of women, sisters and daughters.

It is worth mentioning that a Congress MLA Sunderlal Tiwari had made a derogatory comment on CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan over his jan ashirwaad yatra. Congress state president Kamal Nath too had used indecent language for CM.

CM paid obeisance at Maa Bagulamukhi temple after reaching Nalkheda.  During a public meeting he said that Congressmen abused him as they were frustrated.

Chouhan in the meeting said when he could bring electricity, water and roads in the state then why Congress could not do development in its 50 years rule. CM said Congress should give details of the work it has done to the public.
