JSPL TRB Mines holds OP Jindal birthday

The Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) TRB Iron Ore Mines celebrated the 88th birth anniversary of Jindal Group founder late Om Prakash Jindal in Sundargarh district on Tuesday.

On the occasion, a one-day football tournament was organised in which 16 teams from surrounding areas participated. Koira Tehsildar Duryodhan Bhoi inaugurated the tournament in which the Phuljhar team beat Bandal by 1-0 to clinch the OP Jindal Memorial Football Tournament-2018 trophy.

Among others, Tensa Mines Unit Head Pramod Kumar Patra was present. Later, built at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, a facilitation centre for the drivers was also inaugurated by Koira region Deputy Director of Mines Salil Kumar Behera.

Senior officials and employees of the company paid floral tributes. A puja and havan was also performed for peace and well-being of all.
