Police book 40-yr-old man in sexual assault case

Habibganj police have booked a 40-year-old man, for sexually assaulting and having unnatural sex, with his 36-year-old wife at Arera Colony; victim’s father-in-law was also booked for her sexual harassment.

SHO Habibganj police Virendra Chauhan told the Pioneer that the victim in her complaint has alleged that she was forced to have unnatural sex with her husband Vishwapratap Singh for long. Besides, Chouhan said that her father-in-law used to molest and sexually assault her.

In the complaint, Chouhan said, the victim stated that her husband had second marriage with Deepti Dixit without divorcing her. She claimed that Deepti also used to harass her with the help of Vishwapratap, Chouhan added.

The SHO further said that the woman lodged a complaint on Wednesday evening stating that after she was molested by her father-in-law she reported the incident to her husband but instead of supporting her, he had beaten her brutally and for years she has suffered the atrocities by husband and father-in-law.

She got married to the Vishwapratap Singh on March 2, 2006 and used to live in Arera Colony and had two children from the marriage and has been living in Delhi for the past one year. The accused Vishwapratap Singh hails from a royal family in Narsinghgarh and was member of district Panchayat, he added.

SHO Chouhan further added that the police have started investigation into the matter. The accused would be quizzed in the further investigation. Dejected from the harassments by the family members victim move to Delhi along with her two children who study in Delhi
