BHEL starts three-day celebration of HRD Day at Vishwakarma Hall

Human Resource Development Centre BHEL, Bhopal today celebrated the opening ceremony of the three days long HRD Day celebration at Vishwakarma Hall Workshop of HRDC. The day is celebrated across the corporation on August 11.

A number of activities is planned to be held during the three days’ celebration. On this occasion General Manager (HR) M Isadore, AGM (HRD) Amitabh Dubey and other senior officials from HR, TAD, P&PR and HRD were present.

Isadore in his address appreciated the efforts of HRD group, laying stress on learning which would not only benefit the employees, the organization but the society at large. He emphasized that the learning culture should be promoted throughout the organization as well as the society. 

He further through his speech motivated the apprentices and employees to put in everything for the Vision Mission and Values of BHEL.

Dubey welcoming the all the guest informed the gathering about the history and importance of HRD Day.  He also highlighted the contribution of HRD in people development. He elaborated the vision of CMD-BHEL, Atul Sobti who reiterates that learning Process should be given momentum and Learning should be imbibed as a culture, as this is the only attribute which cannot copied.

The programme began with Ganesh Vandana and thought provoking Poem on Water Preservation-Environment. This was followed by Tree Plantation by GM (HR), other senior officials and apprentices.

Thereafter six (6) Cradles fabricated by Apprentices of Welding Shop of HRDC Workshop were presented to Crèche of BHEL-Bhopal, in the presence of GM (HR). In the afternoon session, Quiz Competition was organized.

The programme was compered by SP Shukla, Sr Executive (HRD) and vote of thanks was presented by AGM (HRD-Workshop), Kamla Oraon.
