Dairy shop owner shot dead by two in Ghazipur

A dairy shop owner was shot dead by two unidentified assailants in East Delhi’s Ghazipur.

The incident occurred at around 11:30 pm on Thursday. The victim was identified as Shamin (32), police said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East District Pankaj Singh said, "The deceased was standing outside his cousin's shop in Ghazipur along with his cousin when two persons in a bike stopped in front of the shop.

“They had a quarrel over something and the two persons in the bike left the scene. However, the two assailants returned and shot at Shamin.”
