NEW DELHI: Having wrapped up his first India Under-19 tour last month in Sri Lanka, Arjun Tendulkar was away from the action for quite some time but his appetite to be on the cricket field was seen during the ongoing second Test between India and England at Lord's on Friday.

Not only honing his skills along with MCC Young Cricketers in his off time, Arjun, son of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, has also come out to lend helping hand to ground staff.

Lord's Cricket Ground took to Twitter to applaud junior Tendulkar's effort, posting: "Not only has he been training with @MCCYC4L recently & but he has also been lending a helping hand to our Groundstaff!"

In his Youth Test debut this July, Arjun, who is a left-arm fast bowler, ended up with figures of 1/33 and 1/32 besides scoring a duck. In the second game, he scored 14 runs and bowled spells of 0/33 and 1/39 in the two innings.

Arjun was in the news recently for having enjoyed a lunch with England woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt in London and the Instagram image that followed went viral on social media.

Wyatt famously trended on social media four years ago when she proposed India captain Virat Kohli for marriage.

India lost the first Test by 31 runs at Edgbaston last week as England lead the five-match series 1-0.
