Man rapes teen 20 times after filming first assault

An 18-year-old polytechnic student was allegedly lured by an accused on the pretext of giving her educational notes and was raped in a hotel in Gurugram, said policem, adding that the accused had filmed the act and was blackmailing her and the victim alleged that she was raped 20 times post blackmail.

In her complaint to police, the victim said she was undergoing a polytechnic course from Hisar and the incident took place on January 17 when she came to Gurugram to reside with her relatives.

The accused identified as Udham Singh (34) who is also doing polytechnic from Hisar told her he will provide her polytechnic notes which will help her to perform better in the examination.

"He lured me at Hotel Imperial located on the Old Delhi Road on the pretext of giving  me notes and offered me a soft drink  which was laced with sedative and after consuming it I fell unconscious and when I came back to my senses I had been raped," the victim said in her complaint.

"The accused threatened me with dire consequences if I narrated my ordeal to anyone. He threatened me that he will kill my brother and father.

He filmed the act and was continuously blackmailing me that he will upload the video on the social media platform," the victim said in her complaint.

Later the survivor revealed the entire incident to two of her friends and teacher.

They informed her father and the matter was reported to police. The woman originally hails from village Kharkhoda in Sonipat district. A case has been registered under section 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sector-14 Police Station and the accused has been arrested from Rohtak, police said.

Further probe into the matter is underway, said Subhash Boken, spokesperson Gurugram police.
