KOTA: A 65-year-old man succumbed to injuries during treatment in a hospital in Kota, late on Wednesday night, where he was undergoing medical treatment after he was attacked at noon, with sticks, allegedly by a person to whom his son had recently sold cows, in Baran city police station area. Police have lodged a case of murder against one person, who is yet to be arrested.

Shivaji colony, was on Wednesday noon, attacked with sticks, by a person identified as Prakesh Gujar (30) of a nearby village, said Circle Incharge (C.I.), Baran city police station, Kalu Ram Verma. The old man, with critical injuries, was rushed to
Baran district government hospital from where he was referred to government hospital in Kota, he added, saying the man succumbed to injuries during treatment, late on Wednesday night.
Initial police investigation has revealed, the dispute between the two arose from a deal of cows in the recent past, when the deceased man’s son sold some cows to the family of the accused, who complained the cows were not producing milk, the CI said. During a heated argument between the two, the accused attacked Dhannalal with sticks, causing critical injuries, after which he was rushed to the hospital in Baran and was later referred to Kota, he added.
Police have lodged a case of murder against Prakesh Gujar, who has not been nabbed yet, he added.
