Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited (BSCDCL)’s company B-Nest has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with software and solution provider ESRI India for the benefit of start-ups and young entrepreneurs.
The MoU was signed on behalf of BSCDCL by its ED and Municipal Commissioner Avinash Lavania and on behalf of ESRI by its president Agendra Kumar.
ESRI India president Agendra Kumar said, “The GIS technology is already playing pivotal role in providing solution to major challenges like climate change, stability, security, safety etc. Our partnership with B-Nest will help us to develop such unique solutions.”
Start-ups to benefit
Under the MoU, the ESRI would provide geographic information system (GIS) software and solution to the start-ups. This would enable young entrepreneurs of the start-ups to start new projects with services like Ola, Uber or Yellow cab. BSCDCL officials informed that ESRI India would provide arch GIS mapping platform, software development tools and the ready content to use API as well as technical guidance free of cost.
