Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri would take oath as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court on Sunday, informed a release issued by the High Court registry here on Thursday. Governor Ganeshi Lal would administer the oath of office to Justice Jhaveri in the High Court premises at 4 pm, the release said.

Prior to his new assignment, Justice Jhaveri was a judge of the Rajasthan High Court. The post of Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court fell vacant earlier this week when incumbent Justice Vineet Saran was elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court.
