The sleuths arrested Babita Chauhan, her husband and a middleman Shiv Prasad in connection with the case.

A complaint was lodged on July 23 with the that the had demanded Rs 2.25 lakh for changing the land use of a residential property into commercial. The complaint was verified and the three accused were arrested, Ajmer additional SP said.

The ACB officials had received another complaint against the three arrested accused for demanding ownership of a commercial property worth Rs 80 lakh in the complex in lieu of approving its building and construction plan.

The complaint was lodged in this regard on April 2, which was verified. The accused had got the commercial property registered in the name of a dummy buyer. The transaction record was seized by the ACB officials as a case evidence, they said.

The accused and two others were arrested for taking bribe of total Rs 82.5 lakh, the ACB officials said.
