Sugar market witnessed a steady trend on routine demand, supply and volume. Bulk demand at mill level remained poor forcing the producers to keep their tender offers open and prices under check. Naka rates were unchanged. Arrivals at the Vashi wholesale market improved to 64-65 truck loads and local dispatches were at 59-60 loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,170-3,312 and M-grade ₹3,252-3,505. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,140- 3,220 and M-grade ₹3,200-3,320.
