Hansel.io raises $4 million from Vertex, others
BENGALURU: Hansel.io, a product operations startup, has raised $4 million (about Rs 27.5 crore) in a round led by Vertex Ventures, with participation from existing investors IDG Ventures India and Endiya Partners.
The fund infusion will enable the Bengaluru-based company to accelerate its expansion to international markets, especially the United States, and also boost its hiring in engineering and sales.
“We will be setting up a sales team in North America. We have just hired a VP of sales also. The idea is to first capture the US market. Currently most of our revenues are from India and Southeast Asia,” said Varun Ramamurthy, CEO of Hansel.io.
