In a letter to Speaker of State Assembly, Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh said that Congress Legislature Party expressed dissent on conducting of special one-day session of the House.

The letter was in response of telephonic communication over the special session with the speaker of state assembly Sitasharan Sharma.

Ajay Singh mentioned that the last session was scheduled from June 26 to 29 ended in a dictatorial manner within two days.

In any democracy, opposition has the right to move no confidence motion and Congress played role of opposition in better manner by moving no confidence motion against Shivraj lead government to reveal corruption, scams and evading promises but unfortunately ruling party trampled right of opposition which was witnessed by the people of state and after such incident within 42 days conducting special session is meaningless.

In another letter to Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Ajay Singh has demanded to call off special one day session as the earlier session which is the state’s shortest session of two days was adjourned indefinitely and ended in an undemocratic manner. Once again special one day session is making mockery of democracy and state assembly. The BJP government do not holds believe on state assembly as it has been made puppets in the hand of ruling party which is the highest institution of expression of people and their representatives.

He request the Governor to exercise her constitutional powers and call off the special one day session and it would be better to conduct session after state assembly elections scheduled in the year 2018.
