AMBALA: Yesterday in the night a youth was brutally murdered by some assailants after they attacked him with knives leaving him in a pool of blood at the
Dhulkot Railway Station. The deceased youth has been identified as Rahul (18) resident village
Barnala in the district, who was immediately rushed to Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh with serious injuries, where he succumbed to his injuries while ongoing the treatment. The Government Railway Police (GRP) have booked five youths in connection with this case with names, and the teams have been deployed to search for them.
The incident happened at around 8 pm in the evening on Tuesday at the Dhulkot Railway Station, when some assailants attacked Rahul with knives, piercing his body from multiples spots, and fled from there leaving him to die. The GRP reached the spot and took seriously injured Rahul to the GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh, where his condition was critical, and today he succumbed to his injuries while ongoing the treatment.
The cops told that as per the initial investigation it has come forward that Rahul has been murdered due to an old rivalry.
