Kangana Ranaut reveals love for lehenga skirts, modern boho style

Kangana Ranaut is up there with the best of them, when we think of modern fashion icons. It’s no secret that the actor’s style is, well, perfect. Kangana is known for her creative styling tricks and her ability to just as easily wear elegant sarees and breezy suits or glamorous body-hugging silhouettes and plunging necklines.

Now, Kangana, who is known for her inspiring sense of style and clout among her fashionable peers, is opening up about her personal style and more. Here’s what Kangana, who is the new face of fashion designer Anita Dongre’s Global Desi, told Vogue in an interview about her festive style: “My favourite festive trend is a lehenga skirt. Usually you can’t move around while you are wearing a heavy lehenga, but the lehenga skirt that is a part of their new collection is so fuss-free that you can wear it for any festive occasion, and feel comfortable in it.”

At 31, Kangana’s somehow managed to identify her personal style (something that takes a lot of people a lifetime). Kangana describes her personal style as “very bohemian in spirit”. Pulling off good boho style is no easy task, between flowing maxi skirts, fringes and simple floral patterns, it’s easy to get a little carried away with the style. But Kangana proves that with the right additions, bohemian style can feel extremely fresh.

“I have never worn a dhoti sari or a sari-pants hybrid in my entire life. I wore it for the first time and I have to say it is super comfortable,” Kangana said in the interview.
