Not just India, Pakistan is also gearing up for a grand celebration. Here's a peek
71st anniversary for both
In about a week's time, two countries will be celebrating their 71st year of Independence from the colonial rule of the Britishers. Both India and Pakistan were carved out from the territory that was treated as a British dominion for nearly 200 years. While Pakistan was declared independent on August 14, 1947, India became independent a day later on August 15. Here are few glimpses of the preparations being made on either side of the border.
