Pardhi village: Two youths die of electrocution

Two youths were electrocuted while working at farms at Pardhi village under Gunga police station area on Tuesday; youths were using same machine to spray insecticides which came into contact with high voltage power supply line.

The injured youths were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead. Panic prevailed in the area after the two youths were electrocuted in the area on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Santosh Nagar (23) and Govind Ahirwar (25) residents of Hinoti village and were electrocuted while spraying insecticides. The two were spraying insecticide using a machine which came into contact with high voltage power supply line and caused their death.

The two were working at farm owned by Kamal Singh.

Police found that the wires were wet which were used in the machine and which came into contact with high voltage power supply line from a transformer and soon after the two were injured they were rushed to Hamidia hospital in ambulance where they died during treatment.

After the preliminary investigation the bodies were sent for the post mortem and police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.

Police said that investigation would be conducted and in case if negligence would be found case would be registered against the responsible person.
