A group of Kanwariyas went berserk after a car in Delhi brushed against one of them yesterday. In a video that went viral on social media, it was seen that the devotees were violently battering a grey Hyundai i10 on the main road in Moti Nagar.
The Kanwariyas claimed that the car "touched" one of them while driving so they decided to vandalise the vehicle. Police and people were seen loitering around the angered Kanwariyas but no one did anything to stop them.
The passengers sitting in the car got off safely. No injuries were reported. According to the police, the victims did not file any formal complaint against the Kanwariyas.

Kanwariyas are devotees of Lord Shiva who go on an annual pilgrimage during the month of Sawan.
