Director Zhang Yimou to get lifetime achievement award

will be honoured with the lifetime achievement award -- the Glory prize -- at the Venice International Festival.

The "Ju Dou" fame will be given the award on September 6, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Yimou will also present his latest movie, the martial arts period drama "Ying" (Shadow), in an out-of-competition slot at the festival.
