BENGALURU: Bengalurians woke up to intermittent
light showers on Wednesday morning. In some parts of the city,
traffic movement during peak hours got disrupted as showers resulted in waterlogging of roads. Weathermen told TOI that the showers at regular intervals will continue for the next two days.
Geetha Agnihotri, director of India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bengaluru, told TOI that the showers that city is receiving are due to depression over Chhattisgarh.
"Formation of such weather systems is common during monsoon. And the effect is likely to stay for another two days," she added.
