Teen girls arrested after woman attacked, dragged from vehicle in carjacking

Four teens have been arrested after a woman was punched in the face and dragged from her vehicle in a terrifying carjacking in Melbourne's south-east.

The 45-year-old was standing near the back of her car in Hutton Street, Dandenong, when she was allegedly approached by three teenage girls about 5pm on Tuesday.

As the victim got into the driver's seat, she was allegedly struck in the face several times and dragged from the car.

The girls allegedly jumped into the white Mazda CX3 and drove off east along Hutton Street.

The victim was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose.

Shortly afterwards, the three girls allegedly stole cigarettes and assaulted an attendant at a supermarket on Ormond Road, Narre Warren.
