No more pimples.
PSA: Guys, it's time to stop picking at your zits. Well, unless you want to irritate your acne further and/or get an infection. Despite what you may have heard, the pimple-picking habit actually does nothing to remove your unsightly blemishes.
And while there are certainly scrubs, cleansers, and creams out there that claim to clear a breakout, the easiest and quickest way to actually get rid of a pimple is with the help of *surprise* a sticker.
Basically, these little stickers are circular, transparent acne patches that you place over a blemish. From there, let the patch work its magic for up to eight hours (preferably while you sleep). They're practical, effective, and have been used in Asian countries like Korea for far longer than we've been using them in the U.S.
How do they work, you ask? Most acne patches are hydrocolloid bandages, meaning they absorb and suck out all the gunk that's inflaming the spot on your skin. The sticker will then turn from clear to white (since the moisture gets trapped inside the material). Once your remove the sticker, you'll see a noticeably flatter, clearer spot where your pimple once was. Simple, right?
It's best to keep these on hand, especially if you notice a zit forming in its early stages. And best of all, the sticker prevents you from messing with your zit with your grubby fingers. Here are five acne patches to get you started.
