The fourth merit list for admissions to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) in Mumbai is being declared today. The list will be declared at 11 am on Tuesday. The students can check the list of education department’s official website mumbai.11thadmission.net. The fourth merit list is the last Centralised Admission Process (CAP) and had earlier faced delays due to an order of the Nagpur bench of Bombay high court.
According to Hindustan Times, more than 1.40 lakh seats across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) are still vacant. More than 58,000 seats from minority junior colleges, some of which belong to top colleges are still not accessible as they would be surrendered only after the fourth admission round.
Steps to check the merit list:
Step 1: Go to the official website mumbai.11thadmission.net
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘FYJC merit list′ link
Step 3: A new page will open. Enter your registration number and other details
Step 4: Your result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: If required, download and take a print out
