A top Ford Motor Co. F, +0.70% executive has left the company over allegations of "inappropriate behavior," Automotive News reported Monday, citing a source familiar with the matter. Specifics about the behavior of Prakash Patel, global director of program management, remained unclear, the report said. A Ford spokesperson confirmed to Automotive News Patel's departure, but declined to comment further on personnel matters. In February, Raj Nair, the former president of Ford North America, left the company after an internal investigation determined that "certain behavior by Nair was inconsistent with the company's code of conduct." Ford shares have lost 19% this year, versus gains of 7% and 4% for the S&P 500 index SPX, +0.38% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average. DJIA, +0.63%
