M Karunanidhi passes away at 94, Tamil film fraternity pays tribute

Former Tamil Nadu chief minister and DMK supremo M Karunanidhi breathed his last today evening after prolonged illness at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. Karunanidhi’s health condition had been critical for the last couple of months. Known to be one of the most popular politicians of Indian politics, Karunanidhi was equally popular in Tamil film industry. In 1947, at the age of 20, he started his career in film industry as a screenwriter with ‘Rajakumari’. Today, after the news of his demise broke, celebrities like Rajanikanth, Daulquer Salmaan to name a few offered their condolences on social media. Watch the video for more details.
