Heavy rain results in waterlogging in several areas of Srinagar
Source: TNNLife came to standstill in Srinagar as heavy rains resulted in waterlogging at Lal Chowk and several other areas. Power supply and traffic movement were also affected after rain water flooded the streets and roads across the city. The rain, however, provided much-needed relief to people of Srinagar from hot and humid weather which prevailed in the city during last few days. There were reports of cloudburst at Daulatabad, Rainawari near Dal Lake. More rain is expected in Srinagar in next few days.
