Karunanidhi demise: State funeral for DMK Patriarch on Wednesday

Ambulance carrying Karunanidhi's mortal remains has left Kauvery hospital and is on its way to DMK Patriarch's Gopalapuram residence. The national flag will fly at half mast in Delhi, all state capitals and across Tamil Nadu tomorrow as a mark of respect to DMK chief M Karunanidhi, who passed away today, the Home Ministry announced here. The veteran Dravidian leader and and former Tamil Nadu chief minister will also be accorded a state funeral, which will take place tomorrow in Chennai.
