Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul
The Veere Di Wedding actor Sumeet Vyas, who usually prefers to keep his personal life under wraps, finally spoke about his relationship with TV actress Ekta Kaul. Sumeet and Ekta were said to be dating from quite some time, but never made any official statements about it. Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, Sumeet confirmed about his engagement with his lady love Ekta.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Sumeet sharing details about his engagement with Ekta said, ‘’Ekta is a beautiful person. I decided to pop the question a few days ago and slipped a ring on her finger before she could change her mind! I am glad she loved it and has accepted my proposal. Unfortunately, I got the size of the ring wrong, which can be expected from a guy like me.”
Meanwhile, Ekta also spoke about her relationship with Sumeet and in an interaction with the daily said, ‘’Marrying the man you love is a great feeling but tying the knot with your crush is an achievement. I am happy that I am marrying Sumeet. Actually, before slipping the ring, he had come to Jammu to speak to my parents and then he proposed marriage to me. I don’t know why he felt I would not say yes immediately. I will never say no to him.”
It is said that Sumeet and Ekta might tie the knot in September this year.
Sumeet was earlier married to TV actress Shivani Tanksale, who was part of Anil Kapoor's TV show 24. They got separated in 2017 after staying together for seven years.
