To celebrate this huge news, the Coffee With D (2017) actress has now extended her trip. Making this vacay more work and less play, Dipannita has also been catching up with a few filmmakers who attended the festival. Dipannita is also keen to sign up with an agency looking for Indian actors. No harm trying, she says.

"This is my first international award and I am so glad that the film has won best feature film and for best score as well. Xhoixobote Dhelamite is a special film and it deserves all the appreciation coming its way. The fact that I won best actress for an Assamese film is what makes it all the more special," she concluded.

"Xhoihobote Dhemalite" (Rainbow fields) is directed by Bidyut Kotoky, which also stars Nakul Vaid and Victor Banerjee.
