Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The rainfall activities are set to revive in the state. According to the weatherman, a monsoon system is heading towards Bhopal from UP which will lead to increase in rainfall activities in Madhya Pradesh.
Absence of rainfall activities has increased rain deficient percentage of State. Even farmers have got worried for their crops as it has not rained for over 10 days in the State.
News that rainfall activities are going to revive in the State has brought huge relief for everyone. As it rains abundant in August hence everyone is expecting good rainfall this month. Water-level in many dams is still less than the maximum level. Last year, none of the dams were full till the maximum level.
Government agencies maintaining various dams are hoping good rains so that there is enough water in dams which will be subsequently used to supply giving water for irrigation and drinking purpose.
On Sunday, Bhopal experienced dry weather but in evening, there was partial cloud cover, giving hopes of good rains. The Weather Department also informed that in last 24 hours, Bakshwah received 1 cm rainfall.
In the forecast, Weather Department said that rains and light showers are likely in some places of Rewa and Chambal division. Some places of Sagar, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Shahdol divisions are also likely to get rains.
Forecast for Bhopal says that weather will be dry. Maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees Celsius. Since more than a fortnight rains have taken a backseat in the State. Absence of rainfall activities has increased humidity level, leaving people high and dry.
