BEIJING—The future of China’s family-planning policy may have been revealed this week—in a postage stamp.

One Year of the Pig stamp for 2019, unveiled by China Post Monday, shows a happy pig family—with three piglets. To some, it is a sign that the two-child policy is on its way out. There is precedent: The ditching of the one-child policy in 2016 was foreshadowed by a Year of the Monkey stamp showing two baby monkeys.
