GORAKHPUR: The father of a minor girl who was sent to the infamous shelter home in Deoria by police on July 25 was not allowed to meet her despite making eight visits. He could be united with his daughter only on Monday when she was among the 24 inmates rescued by the cops.
“She was kidnapped from her school. Police traced her and sent her to this shelter homeon July 25. I visited this shelter home eight times but was not allowed to meet her,” Rakesh (name changed) said.
