RJD seeks Nitish's resignation reminding his precedent as

Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today sought Chief Kumar's resignation on home sexual abuse case while reminding him the precedent he had set as a railway

"I am reminding Kumar of the precedent that he had set by resigning as after a train accident. When can resign on the simple train accident, then he should resign on the much more heinous incident of sexual exploitation at home where 34 girls were raped. The incident which has brought disrepute to the state," Singh told reporters here.

When pointed out whether the train accident (at Gaisal station) which he was referring to a simple one, Singh- who had information of death of merely 3-4 people in the train accident- said the train accident was not a simple one but, the home incident is much more serious and grave.

RJD leader- who was accompanied by party leaders Ram Chandra Purbey, Tanvir Hasan, Ashok Singh, Shiv Chandra Ram- announced that party would start people's movement from August 9 to uproot the government.

Singh, a former Union minister and RJD national vice-president, aimed at piling pressure on Kumar in the wake of Muzaffarpur horror sage where 34 girls of the shelter home were allegedly raped.

"We galvanise party workers and people to launch a struggle to bring to an end to the Our struggle will continue till inefficient, corrupt and atrocious is thrown out of the power," Singh said adding that party will hold "Jail Bharo Andolan" in January next year.
