A powerful earthquake hit Indonesia’s Lombok on August 5. As many as 91 people have lost their lives in the unfortunate incident. Tremors were felt in neighbouring Bali and Gili islands. A quake had already struck on July 29 in which 16 people were killed. A massive rescue operation has been already launched but the members of rescue team are facing problem due to electricity blackouts and collapsed bridges. A spokesperson of National Disaster Mitigation Agency informed that more than thousands of homes and buildings were damaged.
