Paralympic champion Scott Reardon says losing two friends to suicide has been a bigger challenge to overcome than losing a leg.

"There was this sobbing silence. I could hear someone on the other end was extremely emotional,” he says of the day in 2014 that changed his life.

Panthers overrun Raiders yet again
