Snatching case: Police retrieve CCTV footage, accused on run

The Delhi Police on Sunday retrieved a CCTV footage of a woman whose jewellery and mobile phone were allegedly snatched forcefully by an unidentified person last week in Shadhara's Mansarovar Park.

According to police, the incident occurred last week on July 29 when the victim was returning home from a clinic around 8: 30 pm when an unidentified man allegedly snatched woman's belonging and fled away. "The whole incident was caught on CCTV camera. In the CCTV footage, a woman can be seen walking alone in a narrow lane. A man is seen following her and an associate in a bike is seen passing by. The unidentified man then grabs the victim and pins her on the ground. He is seen snatching the woman's belongings," said police official. 

"The man's associate can be seen passing by and waits for the accused in the end of the narrow lane. The accused is seen fleeing the scene with the biker," said police official.

The police said that a case has been registered in Shadhara District's, Mansarovar Park Police Station. The police are probing the matter.

However, the accused hasn't been caught.
