Maharashtra Congress slams BJP over Gadkari's no-jobs remark

Taking a cue from Gandhi, the party's unit on Monday slammed Gadkari's comment on "lack of employment opportunities" in the country.

On Monday, Gandhi took a swipe at the government over unemployment by tweeting: "Excellent question (Nitin) Gadkariji. Every Indian is asking the same question. Where are the jobs?"

"With his statement, Gadkari has confirmed that there is growing joblessness in the country. It is a direct outcome of the wrong policies of the government led by Narendra Modi," said state
