Rahul Gandhi to address party workers in Jaipur on August 11

AICC president Rahul Gandhi will be on a day-long visit to Rajasthan on August 11 and address party workers and leaders.

State Congress president Sachin Pilot on Monday said, “Rahul Gandhi will be coming on August 11 to Jaipur.”

All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary and Rajasthan in-charge Avinash Pande said that Gandhi will address a meeting where all the state executive members, district and block chiefs, present and ex-MLAs and MPs, senior leaders etc will be present.

Pande said that the state Congress will start public awareness programmes in all districts of Rajasthan over Rafale deal, bank scam, farmer issues and corruption from August 12. All senior leaders of the district will be present at the meetings. The programme will conclude on August 28. The party leaders will also organise public meetings at all assembly constituencies over these issues, said Pande.

Gandhi’s visit was finalised on Monday in a meeting, which went on for more than three hours at his residence, and was attended by AICC general secretary and Ex-CM Ashok Gehlot, Pilot and Pande.
