LG has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of its new flagship smartphone called LG G7+ ThinQ. The handset is priced at Rs 39,990. At this price, it competes with the market leader in this segment -- OnePlus 6 smartphone. Here's a spec-by-spec comparison of the two smartphones:
Display: OnePlus 6 sports a bigger screen size
LG G7+ ThinQ features a 6.1-inch QHD+ display with 1440x3120 pixel resolution, while OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch FullHD+ screen. The display of both the smartphones has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Processor: The duo run on Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845
Both LG G7+ ThinQ and OnePlus 6 smartphones are powered by Qualcomm's flagship processor Snapdragon 845.
Operating system: LG G7+ ThinQ and the OnePlus 6 run on Android Oreo out-of-the box
Both the smartphones run on Android Oreo operating system out of the box. LG G7+ ThinQ has a LG UX 7.0 UI layer on the top and OnePlus 6 has Oxygen OS.
RAM and storage: OnePlus 6 also boasts of an 8GB RAM variant
LG G7+ ThinQ packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Buyers also have an option to expand storage up to 2TB by adding a microSD card. Whereas, OnePlus 6 comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The smartphone also has support for microSD card.
Camera: OnePlus 6 offers 16MP+20MP primary camera and 16MP secondary camera
Both the smartphones come with dual-rear camera setup. LG G7+ ThinkQ sports 16MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture along with another 16MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP front shooter. On the other hand, the OnePlus 6 offers a 16MP+20MP primary camera and 16MP secondary camera.
Battery: OnePlus 6 has a higher battery capacity of 3,300 mAh
LG G7+ ThinkQ packs 3,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging as well. While OnePlus 6 is backed by 3,300 mAh battery with dash charge support.
