Woman raped for four years

CHANDIGARH: Police have booked a Ram Darbar resident for allegedly raping a woman on the pretext of marrying her for the last four years. In her complaint, the woman alleged she was in relation with the accused for past four years. She alleged she got pregnant twice and the accused gave her medicines to abort the child.

The complainant also alleged that he forced her to make physical relations with his friends. Police conducted her medical examination and recorded her statement before a judicial magistrate on Sunday. The accused was booked under Sections 420 (cheating) and 376 (rape) of the IPC. Police are raiding his possible hideouts to arrest him.
