Honor Play to launch in India today; Here’s how to watch the livestream

Huawei-owned smartphone maker Honor is all set to launch its next flagship Honor Play in India today, August 6. The company has scheduled an event in New Delhi at 11:30 am. As confirmed by the company, Honor Play will be an Amazon exclusive smartphone. Honor Play : Specifications
The smartphone has already been launched in China earlier this year. It runs EMUI 8.1 topped Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is powered by octa core Kirin 970 AI processor. The smartphone comes with GPU Turbo technology to boost performance.
As stated above, Honor Play will be an Amazon exclusive smartphone which will go on sale at 4:00pm onwards today on the e-commerce website. As for the pricing, both 4GB and 6GB variant are priced at CNY 1,999 and CNY 2,399. This roughly translates to Rs 21,000 and Rs 24,000 respectively.
Honor Play features a 6.3-inch screen disPlay with 2340x1080 pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It also sports ‘4D’ gaming experience with real-time recognition.
The smartphone, currently, comes in two storage variants -- 4GB and 6GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage. It may be further expanded upto 256GB through a micro-SD card support.
As far as the camera is concerned, Honor Play sports a dual rear camera setup which includes 16MP and 2MP sensors with f/2.2 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. On the front, it boasts of a 16MP selfie shooter and has an aperture of f/2.0.
On the connectivity front, the Honor Play comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. The device is powered by a 3,750mAh battery and comes with fast charge support.
