Weight Watchers International Inc. WTW, +0.69% shares fell in the extended session Monday even after the weight-loss company's quarterly results and outlook topped Wall Street estimates. Weight Watchers shares fell 4.7% after hours, following a 0.7% gain to close the regular session at $92.21. The company reported second-quarter net income of $70.7 million, or $1.01 a share, compared with $45.2 million, or 67 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose to $409.7 million from $341.7 million in the year-ago period. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated earnings of 88 cents a share on revenue of $409.5 million. For the year, Weight Watchers raised its earnings outlook to a range of $3.10 to $3.25 a share, up from a previous range of $3 to $3.20 a share. Analysts expect earnings of $2.92 a share.
