CII-IWN organises conference for career women

Indian Women Network of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-IWN) organized a conference for the career women of the Madhya Pradesh state on the theme REDFINE: Rs Going Beyond: Redefining Boundaries’ at Tribal Museum.

Conference focused on reinventing and revaluating individual’s life vision & goals while showcasing an Inaugural session and two plenary session on the theme’s “Jagriti : Empowering Leaders & Strengthening Community Processes” & “Women Who Do Redefining Theories” .

Atishi Marlena, Political Leader & Oxford Graduate, known for her exceptional contribution in education reforms at Delhi, was the Keynote Speaker and shared her experiences on transforming the Delhi Government Schools. Emphasizing on the requirement of Rs Political Willingness’ in bringing reforms in any sector especially in education, she said “Future of a child cannot be decided on his birth. Good education is the right of every child”.

Gauri Singh IAS, Principal Secretary, Departent of Publich Heath, GoMP & Dr Sushma Acquilla, Vice Chair, Global Health Committee UK participated in the panel discussion, wherein Ms. Singh briefed the delegates on innovative steps taken by State Government in Public Health sector. While sharing the Government’s vision on making Madhya Pradesh a healthy state, she urged the women entrepreneurs to take out some time for themselves and take care of their own health.

Other speakers included Pancham Lillaney, Vice President, Phoenix Mills Mumbai, Kruti Saraiya, Graphic Designer and Typographer and Shreya Mishra, Co-Founder & CEO, Flyrobe.com. Stressing upon the need of strong mental courage & maintaining basic discipline for the working women’s, Lillaney said, “If you are not at peace at yourself, you cannot give peace to others.”
