Lambo Huracan Performante Spyder Drive Will Have You Hold On To Your Chair

You may have seen many interesting POV driving videos, but this one will probably top all of them.

Shot on a twisty mountain road in an undisclosed location, it stars one of the most exciting Lamborghinis ever: the Huracan Performante Spyder.

However, unlike previous films that portrayed the open-top model in different environments doing all sorts of things, this one is all about pedal to the metal driving. Truth be told, the driver took too many risks, including corner-cutting and illegal overtaking, which luckily didn’t cause a crash.

As for the Performante Spyder, it benefits from the same upgrades as its fixed roof sibling, including ALA active aerodynamics, ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management), enhanced suspension and steering and recalibrated ESC.

Due to the reinforced chassis, though, it’s 125kg (275lbs) heavier than the coupe. This makes it 0.2sec slower to 100km/h (62mph), which takes 3.1 seconds, while top speed is almost identical, at 325km/h (202mph).

Powering comes from the coupe’s naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10, tuned to deliver 640PS (631hp / 470kW) and 600Nm (443lb-ft) of torque to the permanent all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Unveiled last March at the Geneva Motor Show, the Huracan Performante Spyder has an MSRP of $308,859 (€266,924) in the United States, whereas on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean it can be had from €219,585 ($253,962).
